Most of you know that the regular updates and photos from the team have been posted on the Grassroots Facebook Page. Go there for a day by day stream of comments.
It has been a truly fabulous time and the Bishop Luffa students have been serving and making a lifetime of memories.
My favourite post was this one.
Here are some comments the team from Bishop Luffa have written about their time in Tanzania so far! –
Ele – Having an amazing time and the kids are adorable. Been helping with the feeding and milking programmes, took the children to the zoo, went to the market, and we’re playing a netball game against the Tanzanian girls tomorrow. Having an amazing time!
Georgina – I’m having one of the most life changing trips. Blessing people with chickens and blankets! Seeing how thankful people are is amazing.
Josh – After adopting the name “Tuna” (warrior) and joining the massai, I don’t think I’ll come home!
Emily – This is one of the most amazing trips; changing people’s lives and making young children happy. My favourite day so far was taking the children to the zoo.
Molly – I loved going to church here. It is so different and much livelier than I am used to!
James – It is really good to see that we are making a difference.
Annabelle – such an eye-opening trip experiencing the Tanzanian lifestyle. I was blown away by how thankful families were when we gave them chickens.
James – A truly life changing experience, well worth the wait, well worth the time!
