Great event last night at Tankerton Evangelical Church. They had an "Auction of Promises" in aid of the house building project in Romania. You can see details of the event here.

We just had a call to say that they raised a wapping £2847.50!

This will make a great difference!

Another church has promised several thousand pounds towards the project this week as well. So we are well on the way to having the funding for the three projects that are lined up in Romania.

The lastest project we are hoping to do is buying a house for this family (pictures here are of the family and the house we intend to buy for them) who have been in a terrible situation up to now. The UK end will fund the house purchase (£4000) and the Christians in Romania will find the extra £1000 to fund refurbishing it.

We are also preparing a house building team (half from the UK and half Christians from Romania) to build a house from scratch for a very poor family 8-15 June 2011. If you would like to join us get the forms off the "Mission Trips" tab here.
