Write a letter to your sponsored child!
-
12 September, 2011
If you would like to send a letter or post card to the child you sponsor, then the team are very happy to deliver them. The children love to hear from their sponsor. When writing a few things to remember are:
- Most children do not speak English. Someone will try to translate, but please use only simple words.
- Younger children love bright colours
- Please do not write about your holidays, birthday presents or personal problems
- All letters will be read before being given to the child so please do not seal envelopes.
- Please do not include your own address, email or telephone numbers. If you do we will not pass on your card.
- To make your letter extra special why not include £1 or £2. We will change this into Tanzanian shillings and include it with the card.
- The children love to see a photograph of the person or family who sponsors them.
- Please note that small letter must be A5 or smaller and landscape. See this article for more info. And this diagramme.
