If you would like to send a letter or post card to the child you sponsor, then the team are very happy to deliver them. The children love to hear from their sponsor.

When writing a few things to remember are:

1. Most children do not speak English. Someone will try to translate, but please use only simple words.
2. Younger children love bright colours
3. Please do not write about your holidays, birthday presents or personal problems
4. All letters will be read before being given to the child so please do not seal envelopes.
5. Please do not include your own address, email or telephone numbers. If you do we will not pass on your card.
6. To make your letter extra special why not include £1 or £2. We will change this into Tanzanian shillings and include it with the card.
7. The children love to see a photograph of the person or family who sponsors them.

The cheapest way to get your letter to Tanzania is with one of the teams that go there in May and November each year. To take advantage of this your letter needs to be in the office by either the end of April or the end of October. Letters can be sent at other times of the year by post but to do this we will need an extra £1.50 per letter for the postage, please.
