To all of you that have sponsored me for the Ride Across Britain, thank you very much. You have all been incredibly generous. Grassroots, and all the kids that they help, are extremely grateful. With the total amount raised now over £4,200, the difference that you have all made will be incredible. A special thank you from me to Compass for the time off work, Deloitte for providing me with a place on the ride and Grassroots for all the great work that you do. Thanks also to Beth and the kids for putting up with all the training.

My ride starts early on Saturday morning. My bike is on the road up to the top of Scotland. my bag is packed and I have done all the training that I could fit in (hopefully enough). The route maps and profiles are printed (more than daunting!), so all I need do now is get to the start.
