Steelroots BIG BROTHER HOUSE smashes fundraising target!

18 July, 2010

BB_bus_cardsSteelroots Youth Community in south-west Sheffield ran a Big Brother House to raise money to sponsor Tanzanian Young People through secondary school. The idea was for 7 lads (aged 16-19) to be secluded from the world for 5 days to maintain round-the-clock prayer and complete various fun challenges and tasks. Live footage from the house was streamed on their website: http://steelroots.org.uk/big-brother every evening as well as recorded video diary entries and a daily update video of the challenges and journey of their enterprise.

They have now raised over £1900, which is well over the £1800 needed to support 10 Tanzanian young people for a year in secondary school. But they would be thrilled to raise even more!
